Digital Zone has created this utility to quicken the working process within the company and especially to make their designers happy: now you can send any clipboard content to your colleague by means of a couple of mouse clicks. With RoomTeem utility you can exchange files, links, text extracts from documents or images with your annotations, quickly and easily. A very-brief-user-manual
After installation and launching a RoomTeem you will find an application icon in your system tray (in one line with “Start” button. It may resemble the logo of Digital Zone – you can see it in the top left corner of this page.
Click twice on this icon. Now the content of your clipboard (what was there at the moment you clicked) is available to all other RoomTeemers in your local network.
To get clipboard from another user you should click the right mouse button on the icon, choose “Get” menu and choose the computer name there, from which you’d like to get clipboard. If it has something to give you – you’ll get it.
If the file size is too big, you’ll see the progress window, where you can view the sending process and timing.

FAQ
RoomTeem is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux (running under Linuх see below). It will probably work under any operating system, for which Java Runtime Environment 1.6 exists.
RoomTeem requires Java JRE 6 or later version package. At many computers this package is already installed. You can install it manually; it is available free at http://www.sun.com/.
To launch RoomTeem at 64-bit Macintosh you should install Java update for Mac OS X and tune the system so that the new Java could be used on default.
Unfortunately, Java 6 for 32-bit Macintosh doesn’t exist (yet?). So – ask Apple.
All files from clipboard are transferred without compression.
Current version of the program is 1.1.0.0
Command line
To launch RoomTeem unde different from Windows systems (e.g. Linus, FreeBSD) you should type the following command:
java -jar roomteem.jar -noupdate
-noupdate parameter disables the update manager autorun, which is, unfortunately, available only for Windows now.
Not each Java 1.6 version could work with Linux system tray. Normally you need not less than 13th Runtime Environment, e.g.:
$ java -version
java version "1.6.0_05"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_05-b13)
